Moral Foundation
Moral foundations theory (MFT) investigates the fundamental values underpinning human morality, aiming to understand how these values shape individual behavior and societal norms. Current research focuses on applying MFT to analyze the moral biases embedded within large language models (LLMs), utilizing various techniques including sentiment analysis and lexicon development to assess the alignment of LLMs with different moral frameworks. This work is significant because it highlights the ethical implications of increasingly prevalent AI systems and informs the development of more responsible and ethically aligned AI technologies.
