Current efforts leverage computer vision techniques, often employing deep learning models like YOLOv7 and YOLOv8, along with acoustic analysis and satellite imagery for large-scale habitat mapping. These advancements aim to improve disease surveillance and control strategies by enabling faster, more efficient, and cost-effective mosquito population management compared to traditional methods.
