Multi Objective Landscape
Multi-objective landscape analysis focuses on understanding the complex interplay of multiple, often conflicting, objectives in optimization problems. Current research emphasizes characterizing these landscapes, particularly in the presence of constraints, using techniques like instance space analysis to identify features influencing algorithm performance, such as the isolation of optimal solutions and the correlation between objectives and constraints. Algorithms like the Multi-Objective Landscape Explorer (MOLE) are being developed to navigate these complex landscapes more effectively. This research improves the design and selection of optimization algorithms for diverse applications where multiple objectives must be considered simultaneously.
