Multi View Capture
Multi-view capture aims to reconstruct 3D scenes or objects from multiple camera viewpoints, striving for complete and accurate representations. Current research focuses on improving the quality and efficiency of this process, addressing challenges like limited depth of field and noisy data through techniques such as Expectation-Maximization algorithms, frequency domain analysis for material property recovery, and contrastive learning for depth refinement. These advancements enable applications ranging from high-fidelity digital asset creation and photorealistic character rendering to efficient 3D scene understanding with minimal labeled data, impacting fields like computer vision, graphics, and robotics.
