Multiple Middleware

Multiple middleware systems are being developed to address the increasing complexity of data integration and communication in diverse applications, ranging from robotics and autonomous driving to environmental monitoring and large language model (LLM) tool integration. Current research focuses on improving interoperability, scalability, and real-time performance through approaches like microservice architectures, optimized messaging brokers (e.g., zero-copy), and the integration of diverse communication protocols (e.g., DDS, MQTT, Zenoh). These advancements are crucial for enabling efficient data fusion, enhancing system reliability, and facilitating the development of sophisticated, interconnected systems across various domains.
