Naturalistic Interaction
Naturalistic interaction research focuses on understanding and replicating human communication and behavior in realistic settings, aiming to improve human-computer interaction and advance our understanding of social dynamics. Current research employs large language models (LLMs) and other machine learning techniques, such as diffusion models and transformer networks, to analyze conversational data, infer personality traits from interactions, and build more human-like conversational agents. This work is significant for developing more engaging and effective AI systems, improving diagnostic tools for neuropsychiatric conditions through speech and text analysis, and providing new methods for analyzing complex social interactions in diverse contexts.
