Negotiation Strategy
Negotiation strategy research aims to understand and optimize the processes by which agents reach mutually acceptable agreements. Current research heavily utilizes large language models (LLMs) to simulate human negotiation behavior, exploring the influence of factors like personality traits and visual cues on outcomes, and developing AI-based coaching systems to improve negotiation skills. This work is significant for advancing our understanding of human negotiation and for creating more effective AI agents capable of participating in complex negotiations across diverse domains, with applications ranging from automated bargaining to conflict resolution.
