Network on Chip

Network-on-Chip (NoC) architectures are increasingly crucial for high-performance computing systems, aiming to efficiently manage communication between numerous processing elements. Current research focuses on optimizing NoC performance through advanced techniques like deep learning for efficient denial-of-service detection and localization, multi-objective evolutionary algorithms for designing complex 3D heterogeneous NoCs, and reinforcement learning for adaptive buffer control. These efforts aim to improve key metrics such as latency, throughput, energy efficiency, and resilience, ultimately leading to more powerful and energy-efficient computing platforms.
