NOvA Long Baseline Neutrino Oscillation
The NOvA experiment investigates neutrino oscillations, aiming to precisely measure neutrino properties and test the Standard Model of particle physics. Current research focuses on improving event reconstruction accuracy using advanced neural network architectures, such as those combining convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and transformers, to better associate detected particles with their origins within complex neutrino interactions. These improvements enhance the precision of oscillation parameter measurements, providing crucial insights into neutrino behavior and potentially revealing physics beyond the Standard Model. The resulting data contributes significantly to our understanding of fundamental particle interactions.
