Current efforts leverage AI, particularly generative models like GANs and LLMs, often integrated with evolutionary algorithms or knowledge graphs, to explore broader design spaces and facilitate cross-domain knowledge transfer. This work aims to improve the efficiency and creativity of the design process, leading to more innovative and practical solutions in various applications, as evidenced by advancements in areas such as robotic design and thematic collection generation.
