Nursing Activity
Research on nursing activity focuses on automatically recognizing and quantifying nurses' actions to improve patient care and reduce caregiver workload. Current efforts leverage computer vision, employing deep learning models like vision transformers and recurrent neural networks (RNNs, such as LSTMs) to analyze video and sensor data (e.g., thermal imaging, accelerometers) to classify and predict nursing activities. This automated analysis aims to objectively assess nursing workload, optimize staffing, and enhance training through large-scale annotated datasets and improved model accuracy, ultimately contributing to safer and more efficient healthcare delivery.
