Object Category
Object category research focuses on enabling computers to understand and interact with objects in images and 3D scenes, regardless of whether they've been seen before. Current research emphasizes developing category-agnostic models, often leveraging transformer architectures and pre-trained vision-language models like CLIP, to achieve robust object pose estimation, counting, and segmentation across diverse object categories.
