Object Reconfiguration
Object reconfiguration focuses on efficiently and reliably manipulating objects to achieve a desired arrangement, a crucial task in robotics and automation. Current research emphasizes developing robust methods for planning and executing these manipulations, incorporating advanced models like neural radiance fields (NeRFs) for scene representation and leveraging physics simulation to generate feasible action sequences. This work aims to improve the speed, accuracy, and adaptability of robotic manipulation systems, with significant implications for applications ranging from warehouse automation to surgical robotics.
