Online Test Time Adaptation

Online test-time adaptation (OTTA) focuses on improving the performance of pre-trained machine learning models when encountering new, unseen data distributions during deployment, without access to the original training data. Current research emphasizes developing efficient algorithms, often incorporating techniques like entropy minimization, cosine alignment, and adversarial training, and exploring their effectiveness across various model architectures, including transformers and vision-language models.
