Parallel Sentence
Parallel sentence research focuses on creating and utilizing pairs of sentences with equivalent meaning but different linguistic styles or languages, primarily to improve machine translation and related natural language processing tasks. Current research emphasizes developing methods for generating synthetic parallel data, even with imperfect translations, and leveraging multilingual models and techniques like masked style filling to enhance performance, particularly in low-resource language settings. This work is crucial for advancing machine translation capabilities, especially for under-resourced languages, and for improving the quality and efficiency of various natural language generation tasks.
