Current efforts concentrate on addressing challenges such as data scarcity through techniques like synthetic image generation and leveraging auxiliary data sources (e.g., eye-tracking) to improve model training. These advancements aim to enhance diagnostic accuracy, facilitate more efficient workflows, and ultimately improve patient care by enabling earlier and more precise disease detection.
