Payload Lifting
Payload lifting research focuses on developing robotic systems capable of efficiently and safely transporting heavy objects across various terrains. Current efforts concentrate on improving control algorithms, particularly decentralized control for multi-robot systems and human-robot collaborative strategies incorporating ergonomic considerations, as well as exploring novel robotic architectures like quadrupedal robots with prismatic joints and modular multi-copter systems. These advancements are significant for enhancing the capabilities of robots in logistics, construction, and search and rescue operations, improving efficiency and safety in demanding environments.
