Personality Perception
Personality perception research investigates how personality traits are expressed and perceived in various contexts, primarily focusing on accurately identifying and potentially manipulating these traits using computational methods. Current research leverages large language models (LLMs) and machine learning techniques, analyzing textual data from social media, conversations, and even generated text to infer personality traits based on frameworks like the Big Five. This work has implications for improving human-computer interaction, enhancing the realism and personalization of AI agents, and advancing our understanding of the relationship between language, personality, and behavior.
