Personalized Itinerary
Personalized itinerary generation aims to create customized travel plans that satisfy individual user preferences and constraints, focusing on rationality, comprehensiveness, and personalization. Current research heavily utilizes large language models (LLMs), often integrated with spatial optimization algorithms and embedding techniques, to generate itineraries from natural language requests, incorporating user preferences and real-time factors like crowd levels and POI popularity. This field significantly impacts the tourism industry by enhancing user experience and providing more efficient and enjoyable travel planning, while also presenting novel challenges in areas like algorithmic optimization and user data privacy.
