Pinch Gesture
Pinch gestures, a common interaction method in virtual and augmented reality, are the subject of ongoing research focusing on improving their usability and expanding their applications. Current research explores alternative gesture authoring tools to create more natural and intuitive interactions, comparing pinch gestures against other hand gestures and traditional controllers to optimize performance and accuracy in virtual object manipulation. Furthermore, research investigates the vulnerability of deep learning models to adversarial attacks that exploit the characteristics of pinch gesture recognition, highlighting the need for robust security measures. These efforts aim to enhance human-computer interaction in virtual environments and improve the security of AI systems.
