Post Quantum Cryptography

Post-quantum cryptography (PQC) aims to develop cryptographic systems resistant to attacks from future quantum computers, safeguarding sensitive data from the threat posed by Shor's algorithm. Current research focuses on evaluating the efficiency and security of NIST-standardized algorithms like Dilithium, FALCON, and SPHINCS+, particularly within applications like federated learning and blockchain, as well as exploring alternative approaches such as those based on the Learning with Errors problem and neural network architectures. The development and rigorous testing of PQC is crucial for maintaining data security in a post-quantum world, impacting various sectors including finance, healthcare, and national security.
