Current research emphasizes content-aware models, often employing generative adversarial networks (GANs) or diffusion models, to achieve this by considering relationships between visual and textual content, as well as the spatial arrangement of elements. These advancements leverage large datasets of annotated poster layouts and aim to improve the efficiency and quality of poster design, impacting both graphic design automation and the creation of more effective visual communication tools.
