Pre Screening
Pre-screening uses machine learning and deep learning algorithms to rapidly identify individuals likely to have a specific condition, reducing the need for extensive and costly full diagnostic testing. Current research focuses on diverse applications, including early dementia detection using voice analysis, COVID-19 identification via cough sounds, and breast cancer risk assessment through demographic and biological data. These methods aim to improve efficiency and accessibility of healthcare, particularly in resource-constrained settings, by prioritizing individuals for further investigation and potentially reducing the burden of false positives in traditional screening.
