Psychological Measurement
Psychological measurement is evolving beyond traditional static methods, aiming for more personalized, engaging, and accurate assessments of psychological traits. Current research focuses on leveraging advancements in large language models (LLMs) and graph neural networks (GNNs) to create interactive, game-based assessments and improve the forecasting of time-series data from ecological momentary assessments (EMA). This shift towards dynamic, personalized approaches, informed by psychometric principles, promises to enhance the reliability and validity of psychological evaluations, with implications for mental health care, self-improvement, and the responsible development of AI systems.
