Quantum Computer Vision
Quantum computer vision (QCV) aims to leverage quantum computing's unique capabilities to improve image processing and analysis tasks. Current research focuses on developing quantum algorithms for image segmentation, convolutional neural networks, and self-attention mechanisms, often employing variational quantum algorithms (VQAs), quantum annealing, and quantum kernel methods within these architectures. These efforts seek to enhance the speed, efficiency, and accuracy of computer vision tasks, particularly for computationally intensive problems like defect detection in manufacturing, potentially surpassing classical approaches in specific applications.
