Radar Camera Depth
Radar-camera depth estimation aims to create accurate 3D depth maps by fusing data from cameras and radar sensors, leveraging radar's robustness to adverse weather and camera's rich visual information. Current research focuses on overcoming challenges like noisy and sparse radar data through techniques such as graph neural networks, confidence-driven fusion mechanisms, and innovative supervision strategies that prioritize efficient use of sparse data. These advancements improve the accuracy and robustness of depth estimation, significantly impacting autonomous driving applications by enabling safer and more reliable navigation in diverse environmental conditions.
