Radiology Workflow

Radiology workflow research aims to improve efficiency and accuracy in medical image analysis and reporting, primarily focusing on automating tasks and reducing radiologist workload. Current efforts involve developing and refining AI models, including large language models (LLMs) and 3D image processing algorithms, for tasks such as report generation, image retrieval, and automated segmentation. While LLMs show promise for some aspects of report generation, challenges remain in achieving clinically acceptable accuracy and integrating these models seamlessly into existing workflows. The ultimate goal is to leverage AI to enhance diagnostic precision and streamline the radiology process, ultimately improving patient care.
