Real O RAN

Real O-RAN research focuses on leveraging the open and intelligent architecture of Open Radio Access Networks to improve network efficiency and resource management. Current efforts concentrate on developing and deploying AI/ML-based solutions, particularly employing reinforcement learning and Long-Short Term Memory networks, for tasks such as dynamic spectrum sharing and handover prediction within real-world O-RAN deployments. These advancements aim to optimize resource allocation, reduce operational costs, and enhance network performance, demonstrating the practical application of AI in next-generation telecommunications.
