Ricci Flow
Ricci flow, a geometric process that smooths the curvature of a manifold, is finding increasing application in diverse fields. Current research focuses on adapting discrete Ricci flow algorithms for analyzing large-scale graphs, developing novel graph pooling and embedding techniques leveraging Ricci curvature, and exploring connections between Ricci flow and the behavior of deep neural networks. These applications range from improving healthcare access analysis and information diffusion prediction to enhancing the accuracy and explainability of machine learning models and aiding in medical image analysis, demonstrating the broad significance of Ricci flow in both theoretical and applied contexts.
