Road Scenario
Road scenario research, encompassing both on- and off-road environments, focuses on improving autonomous vehicle navigation and control. Current efforts concentrate on developing robust perception systems using diverse sensor data (e.g., radar, lidar, proprioception) and advanced algorithms like deep reinforcement learning and denoising autoencoders to address challenges such as traversability estimation, path planning in complex terrains (including covert navigation), and accurate motion prediction. These advancements are crucial for enhancing the safety, efficiency, and reliability of autonomous vehicles across various applications, from off-road robotics to driver assistance systems.
