Robot Error
Robot error is a critical challenge hindering the widespread adoption of robots in human environments. Current research focuses on detecting errors through multimodal analysis of human-robot interactions (e.g., facial expressions, speech, body language) and developing methods for robots to self-correct or respond appropriately to detected errors, including using natural language feedback to refine robot plans. This work aims to improve both robot performance and the user experience by creating more robust and reliable human-robot collaboration, ultimately leading to safer and more effective robotic systems in various applications.
