Robot Guided
Robot-guided evacuation focuses on using robots, particularly UAVs, to efficiently and safely guide people to exits during emergencies. Current research emphasizes developing accurate, near real-time human tracking systems and predictive models of evacuee behavior, often employing techniques like Model Predictive Control and social force models to optimize robot navigation and crowd management. This work is significant for improving emergency response strategies and informing the design of more effective evacuation procedures, with applications ranging from building evacuations to large-scale disaster relief.
