Robot Personality
Robot personality research focuses on designing robots with distinct personalities to improve human-robot interaction (HRI) and user experience. Current research investigates how robot personality traits, such as introversion/extroversion, influence human behavior, including proximity and trust, and explores how to model and adapt robot personalities based on user interactions and context. This work is significant because it aims to create more natural, engaging, and trustworthy interactions between humans and robots, impacting fields like healthcare, service industries, and education.
