Robotic LEGO
Robotic LEGO manipulation research focuses on enabling robots to autonomously assemble and disassemble LEGO structures, addressing challenges in precise manipulation of small parts and the generation of assembly plans. Current approaches leverage learning from demonstration, often incorporating simulation for verification and refinement of learned assembly sequences, and employ specialized end-effector tools to improve dexterity. This work is significant for advancing robotic manipulation capabilities in general, with potential applications in automated prototyping, personalized manufacturing, and educational robotics.
