Rollator Walker
Rollator walkers, assistive devices aiding mobility for individuals with physical limitations, are undergoing significant technological advancements. Current research focuses on integrating sensors and advanced algorithms, such as deep learning convolutional neural networks, to improve user safety and experience by detecting user intent and posture, providing adaptive assistance, and potentially preventing falls. This work aims to enhance human-robot interaction, creating more intuitive and responsive devices that promote independence and improve the quality of life for users. The resulting improvements in mobility and health outcomes have significant implications for aging populations and individuals with various mobility impairments.
