Rotation Measurement
Rotation measurement is a crucial task across diverse fields, aiming to accurately and efficiently determine the angular displacement of an object. Current research focuses on improving the precision and robustness of these measurements, employing techniques such as visuotactile sensing combined with advanced filtering algorithms like the Invariant Extended Kalman Filter (IEKF) and its variants, or utilizing structured light sensors for high-precision 3D point cloud analysis. These advancements are driving improvements in robotic manipulation, autonomous navigation (e.g., visual-inertial-wheel odometry), and industrial quality control, enabling more precise and reliable automation in various applications.
