Semantic Field
Semantic fields, in the context of recent research, represent 3D scenes using implicit neural representations, aiming to achieve accurate and generalizable semantic segmentation. Current work focuses on developing novel architectures like Neural Semantic Fields (NeSFs) and their variants, often incorporating multi-view fusion techniques and uncertainty estimation to improve robustness and accuracy. This research is significant for advancing 3D scene understanding, enabling applications in robotics, autonomous navigation, and virtual/augmented reality by providing detailed semantic information from limited input data.
