Semantic Geometric
Semantic geometry integrates semantic information (like object labels) with geometric data (like 3D coordinates) to create richer, more comprehensive representations of scenes and objects. Current research focuses on developing models, such as transformers and convolutional neural networks, that effectively fuse these modalities for tasks ranging from robotic manipulation and 3D scene understanding to knowledge graph embedding and building information modeling. This interdisciplinary field is advancing capabilities in areas like autonomous systems, computer vision, and artificial intelligence by enabling more robust and contextually aware processing of complex data.
