Semantic Parser
Semantic parsing aims to translate natural language into formal, machine-readable representations, enabling computers to understand and act upon human instructions. Current research emphasizes improving the robustness and generalization capabilities of semantic parsers, particularly focusing on leveraging large language models (LLMs) within sequence-to-sequence (seq2seq) architectures and graph-based approaches to handle complex queries and diverse domains. These advancements are crucial for building more sophisticated natural language interfaces for applications ranging from database querying and task-oriented dialogue systems to controlling IoT devices and processing electronic health records.
