Sensor Network Localization

Sensor network localization (SNL) aims to determine the precise locations of all nodes in a network using limited distance measurements between nodes and known locations of some "anchor" nodes. Recent research heavily focuses on addressing the inherent non-convexity of the problem, employing techniques like multi-player potential games and canonical duality theory to find globally optimal solutions and developing distributed algorithms for efficient computation. These advancements improve the accuracy and scalability of SNL, impacting applications ranging from environmental monitoring to robotics and precision agriculture.
