Shot Font Generation

Shot font generation aims to create new fonts from a limited number of example glyphs, automating a traditionally laborious design process. Current research heavily utilizes diffusion models and generative adversarial networks (GANs), often incorporating techniques like style-content disentanglement, multi-scale content aggregation, and attention mechanisms to improve the quality and diversity of generated fonts, particularly for complex scripts like Chinese calligraphy. This field is significant for its potential to reduce the cost and time required for font design, impacting both the creation of new fonts and the accessibility of font customization for various applications.
