Siamese DETR

Siamese networks, employing a twin architecture to compare input pairs, are increasingly used in various computer vision tasks, particularly object tracking and similarity assessment. Current research focuses on adapting Siamese architectures to specific challenges, such as handling imbalanced data, limited annotations, and noisy or incomplete information, often incorporating techniques like self-supervised learning and attention mechanisms within models like DETR (DEtection TRansformer). This approach shows promise in diverse applications, including remote sensing image analysis, signature verification, and generic multi-object tracking, improving accuracy and efficiency compared to traditional methods.
