Signal Strength
Signal strength, the intensity of a received signal, is crucial for various wireless applications, with research focusing on accurate and efficient estimation of its spatial distribution (radio maps). Current efforts utilize deep learning models, particularly generative adversarial networks (GANs) and convolutional neural networks (CNNs), alongside traditional methods, to improve prediction accuracy and robustness against factors like user movement and environmental noise. These advancements are vital for optimizing wireless network performance, enabling reliable indoor positioning, and improving security by detecting spoofing attacks, ultimately impacting the design and operation of future wireless systems.
