Sketch Feature
Sketch features are increasingly used in computer vision to bridge the gap between human-drawn sketches and digital images, enabling applications like image inpainting, generation, and retrieval. Current research focuses on developing robust models, often employing transformer architectures or diffusion models, that can handle the inherent variability and abstraction in user sketches, improving accuracy and mitigating artifacts. This work is significant because it addresses the challenge of incorporating intuitive, user-friendly sketch input into complex computer vision tasks, potentially leading to more accessible and powerful image manipulation and understanding tools.
