Small Container
Research on "small containers" spans diverse applications, focusing on efficiently analyzing their contents and automating interactions. Current efforts involve developing advanced computer vision models (like U2-Net and transformer-based architectures) for non-contact liquid level detection and tactile sensing for estimating properties of solid particles within containers. These methods aim to improve robotic manipulation, particularly in cluttered environments, and enhance automation in fields like laboratory settings and industrial processes. The ultimate goal is to enable more robust and versatile robotic systems capable of handling a wide range of container types and contents.
