sRGB Image
sRGB images, a standard color space for displaying images, are widely used in computer vision despite limitations compared to RAW images which contain richer, linear data. Current research focuses on bridging this gap, developing algorithms and models (like learnable color correction matrices and adapter networks) to efficiently convert between sRGB and RAW formats, enabling the use of RAW data's advantages while maintaining sRGB's accessibility. This work is significant because it improves the accuracy and efficiency of various computer vision tasks, particularly in challenging conditions like low light, and facilitates the development of more robust and versatile image processing pipelines.
