Sustainable Production
Sustainable production research focuses on developing and implementing environmentally friendly manufacturing processes and resource management strategies across various sectors. Current efforts leverage artificial intelligence, particularly machine learning algorithms like YOLO, U-Net, and artificial neural networks, to optimize processes, predict yields, monitor resource usage, and improve product lifecycles through techniques such as automated analysis of sustainability reports and computer vision-aided monitoring. This research is crucial for mitigating environmental impact, promoting resource efficiency, and advancing the circular economy, with practical applications ranging from precision agriculture to remanufacturing and the development of sustainable product-service systems.
