TaiChi Performance
Research on Tai Chi performance analysis is increasingly leveraging computer vision and deep learning to objectively assess movement quality. Current efforts focus on developing robust methods for capturing and reconstructing three-dimensional Tai Chi movements from multiple camera angles, often employing techniques like implicit neural radiance fields and motion transfer for normalization and comparison across individuals. This work aims to provide quantitative metrics for evaluating Tai Chi practice, potentially leading to improved training methodologies and a deeper understanding of the biomechanics and therapeutic benefits of this practice.
