Texture Field

Texture fields represent a crucial area of research in 3D computer graphics and vision, aiming to realistically model and synthesize surface textures for objects and scenes. Current research focuses on improving the accuracy and efficiency of texture field generation, often employing neural radiance fields (NeRFs) or diffusion models, sometimes combined with techniques like implicit texture fields and occupancy fields to enhance realism and handle occlusions. These advancements are driving progress in applications such as novel view synthesis, realistic human rendering for virtual and augmented reality, and even object camouflage through adversarial training.
