THz Image

THz imaging aims to create high-resolution images using terahertz radiation, offering unique capabilities for various applications like material characterization and non-destructive testing. Current research heavily focuses on overcoming limitations such as low resolution and noise through advanced signal processing techniques, including super-resolution algorithms (e.g., based on U-Net and low-rank representation) and deep learning models (e.g., transformers, GANs, and deep reinforcement learning) for image enhancement and beamforming optimization. These advancements are crucial for improving the accuracy and efficiency of THz imaging systems, impacting fields ranging from biomedical imaging to 6G wireless communications and beyond.
